Happy Guateversary!

(full credit goes to Brynna for the term “Guateversary”)

12 months ago today we left our staging hotel in Washington DC in the wee hours of the morning and made our way to Guatemala to start life as Peace Corps Volunteers. You guys, I saw the newest class of trainees arrive at the Peace Corps office yesterday (all travel worn and bewildered) and even though sometimes the days seem painfully slow and it feels like I still have mountains to climb before I can adopt that coveted RPCV title, it’s kind of mind boggling to really see just how far our GT 127th class has come. So, cheers!
